EMERALD ASCENT CAT#4

Cat 4 92-93% density (7-8% VLT 100% UV ABC) The Green Mirror ( #3 grassy) acts to push its opposite, (a bit of rose) into the base filter. The mixture of rose and green, adds a bit of brown and a touch more contrast to the G-15 base, resulting in a soothing filter, great for high light exposure or extreme light sensitivity! Green Mirror - A/R back prevents rapid pigment fading.

SILVER FROG CAT# 4

Cat 4 92-93% density (7-8% VLT, 100% UV ABC)  The gray-green pigment base is dense and very color accurate, but lacks the high contrast of it’s Blue Tundra counterpart for those who prefer limited color alteration. Silver Mirror-A/R back prevents rapid pigment fading. Serious bright high altitude or dessert protection.

McKinley PHOTOCHROMIC CAT#4

Reaches a Cat 4 glacier density of 93-94% (7-8%VLT 100% UV ABC) at full darkening. This lens is unique to Opticus because we invented it! A photochromic filter starting at a 70% density (30%VLT) in lower light and transitioning to full glacier density in cooler, brighter conditions. An excellent extreme exposure lens with some flexibility for other applications such as driving or more pedestrian activities.
